Image from LIMBO

Dive into the limbo imagined and created from scratch by the artists Marie Delprat, Stanislas Pili, Thomas Giger and Maxime Le Saux.
With this objective, they take up the challenge to approach the question of the unrepresentable: the representation of an imaginary space, a mythical and unreal place. With the help of a special device and an immersive sound installation, they create a scenic space that totally involves the spectators. The immersion in this powerful universe allows to experience the spatiality and the materialization of sound.
The work of the collective is based on the stage, its place, understood as a heterotopia, a concept initiated by Foucault and developed thereafter by many contemporary philosophers. The installation is based on concrete materials to create a space, to occupy it by giving it values and interpretations which allow it to exist otherwise.
This place of limbo, detached from any ordinary temporality and spatiality, becomes, thanks to the installation, a space where sounds and images offer all possibilities.
