Buro d’Archi is a stage creation collective founded in 2024 by set designer Maude Bovey and director Yann Hermenjat, both graduates of the Master of Theatre program at La Manufacture in Lausanne in 2023. Before obtaining her Master’s degree, Maude Bovey studied architecture at EPFL, then turned to the performing arts, notably through mandates at Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne and the Belluard Bollwerk festival in Fribourg. In addition to her work with Buro d’Archi, Maude collaborates with young artists such as Jérémie Nicolet, Gautier Teuscher, Sarah Eltschinger and the duo Baron-e on interdisciplinary projects combining theater, dance, performance and music. Yann Hermenjat completed his training as a professional actor at Les Teintureries in June 2020. As an actor, he has worked with the Old Masters company and choreographer Mathilde Monnier. During his studies, he directed two short plays, Je suis née un jour jaune and RC, which were presented at several festivals in French-speaking Switzerland, including Théâtre du Loup, Grütli, Sévelin 36, Théâtre des Osses, Mutin·e·s and L’Abri - Genève.
