Carillon Sauvageis a sound performance featuring a sculptural machine that reproduces the traditional playing technique of Valais bell ringers. The instrument faithfully simulates the carillon of the Martigny bell tower. This unique instrument makes it possible to work outside the bell tower and allows for the exploration and live transformation of sound. The performance contributes to the development of the new narrative framework Alpine Punk, a science-fiction subgenre that sheds light on the social, environmental and spiritual concerns of the inhabitants of the Alpine region.
