The creation of That’s twisted takes as its starting point a deep melancholy, the feeling that it’s difficult to imagine a cheerful future for mankind. A feeling of prompt uncertainty feeds Baptiste’s panic fear of death and the future. The multiple crises (wars and genocides, the rise of the extreme right, COVID-19, etc.) experienced in recent years give him a paralyzing sense of powerlessness that is hard to overcome.
